Officials have made a decision regarding Roy Kim's fan-sponsored forest.
An official from the Gangnam District Office revealed the decision in a telephone conversation on March 19th and said, "We removed all traces of Roy Kim's name from the fan-sponsored forest named after the singer after taking into consideration the negative public opinion on the singer. We removed all the signboards and nearby signs that indicated that it was the 'Roy Kim Forest.' We tried to contact the fans who donated to create the forest but it was difficult to get in touch with them individually. Because the department had no objections to eliminating the landmark, we decided to go ahead with the decision.
In the meantime, Roy Kim is accused of participating in Jung Joon Young's controversial chatroom and is currently undergoing investigation.
