Burning Sun - Articles about the largest scandal to hit the Kpop industry aka "Burning Sun Scandal or Burning Sun Gate." Burning Sun gate is a 2019 entertainment and sex scandal in Seoul that originated from Burning Sun nightclub co-owned by former Big Bang member Seungri which involved police officials and several celebrities, including Korean idols Seungri, Jung Joon Young, Yong Junhyung (Highlight), Choi Jonghun (FT Island), Lee Jonghyun (CNBlue). Nth Room - The "Nth Room" case is a criminal case involving blackmail, cybersex trafficking, and the spread of sexually exploitative videos via Telegram chat app between 2018 and 2020 in South Korea. A man nicknamed God God (Korean: 갓갓) sold these videos on Telegram chats. A copycat crime "Doctor's Room" (Korean: 박사방 "Baksa-bang") was operated by a man using the screen name Doctor later revealed to be Cho Joo-bin, 25 who was accused and subsequently sentenced to 40 years in prison for blackmailing dozens of women, forcing them to take molka videos, with some involving rape. At least 103 victims were confirmed with 26 being minors.

The massive outbreak in Korea was spread by a cult sect (Shincheon-ji) after "patient 31", a 61 yr old female Daegu resident and Shicheon-ji member attended services and spread the virus among its church goers.
