According to a report by 'SBS 8 News' on the 4th, there's another 'katokbang' chat that has been confirmed that involves movie actors 'Shin', 'Han', and model 'Jung'.
According to '8 News' there's also another chatroom that includes the son of a wealthy and top ranking Samsung Executive, an entertainer, and an Arena Club MD.
On the same day of the report, the victim 'A' appeared on the show and revealed that in 2016, she came across her boyfriend's external hard drive that contained illegal hidden camera videos. She found hidden camera footage that involves her and numerous other women as well.
She revealed, "I connected the hard drive to the computer and discovered that there were so many hidden camera photos and video in the katalk conversations. There were so many women that had been filmed and the women appeared to be in a state where they weren't aware, they couldn't even stand up straight. Most of them seemed very drunk or unconscious. If there was a woman lying in the bed naked they took a picture and shared it amongst each other in the katalks. There were over 100 videos that were shared in the chatroom. The chatroom is similar to the molka [hidden camera film] chatroom by Jung Joon Young but it included actors Shin, Han, and model Jung. There was also another chatroom that belonged to a son of a top ranking Samsung Exec and one by an Arena Club MD. I was able to transfer a portion of the photos to my USB device but they're still many left."
In the end, 'A' sued her boyfriend Kim in July last year and the Gangnam Police Station sent Kim to the prosecution. The prosecution is also expected to receive additional complaints from members of the group chat room. The Police reportedly conducted a misdemeanor investigation and shocked her when they revealed, "Twenty women in the video had been illegally filmed," A said. However, the Police allegedly obtained more evidence but didn't investigate the allegations by the other victims.
According to 'A' her investigation was then delayed after the Police told her "We searched Kim's residence but we couldn't find an external hard drive." 'A' shared with the Police that the external hard drive was in Mr. Kim's office but the Police replied, "It is difficult for us to conduct a search and seizure because his residence is not constant [implies the boyfriend moved a lot]."
