Local Taiwanese media have revealed the identity of 'Lin Samo', the owner of Club Burning Sun.
According to a report by Taiwanese weekly magazine Jingzhou Khan on the 3rd, 'Madame Lin' is an acquaintance of Seungri's with over 3.6 trillion won in net worth (~$100 billion) amassed from the early 2000s through a sports gambling operation based in Taichung, Taiwan.
In 1993, Wu Guoju, who operated a restaurant, opened a casino with retired police officers in Taichung City and started a gambling business. Several local media in Taiwan including Jingzhou Khan have reported on Madame Lin Samo numerous times but they've always blurred out her face but for the first time her identity has been revealed. She is a colorful middle-aged woman and according to media she is a legend in Taiwanese social circles. It is said that even the VVVIP of luxury brands is not 'limited enough' for her. Her English name is Yi Ju-Lin but it's likely that it's just a pseudonym she uses to protect her identity.
Meanwhile the police are investigating the flow of Madame Lin Samo's funds in connection with Seungri's 'Burning Sun' case.
