Berry Good's agency is threatening legal action for unfounded bullying rumors.
On Friday, victim 'A' made a post to an online community titled "Girl group Berry Good's Daye is a perpetrator of school violence." 'A' revealed, "I was bullied in the 6th grade by Kim Hyun Jung (Daye). She and her friends tormented me and made me feel ashamed using sexual words and physical violence. She started bullying me after she found out after I was close friends with a guy she liked. She would trip me, hit me on the back of my head, sweep my hair with broom, pull my underwear strings and laugh. She would encourage her guy friends to humiliate me by touching me on the chest. I reported her to the class teacher once about the bullying and she threatened me afterwards. She later moved and transferred to another school and I heard that she had changed her image and become a trainee."
'A' then posted a link with messages from other victims who had been bullied by Daye as well. The messages said, "The washed-up kid who comes out on TV smiling in front of fans is scary. She bullied a lot of people and caused a lot of damage. I still remember it. I hope everyone can read this so that she doesn't try to bury her dirty past like this."
On the 28th Berry Good's agency released a statement stating, "We checked with Daye regarding the post that claimed she was a school bully and found out that the allegations are false. We are planning to take strong legal action against this anonymous post about Daye and school violence."
In the meantime, Berry Good made their comeback on May 25th with mini album 'Fantastic' and member Daye will not participate in promotion activities due to "health issues."
