Lawyer: "Revised statement..Yoochun is facing up to 15 years in prison"

The lawyer that previously spoke to Section TV has revised his statement amid Yoochun's additional confessions.

Previously, lawyer Kim Hee-joon revealed that because Yoochun purchased and took drugs 3 times, he was facing a maximum of 7.5 years in prison. But with Yoochun admitting to 2 more instances of drug use, the singer is looking at a maximum of sentence of 15 years in prison with at least 10 years behind bars.

Kim Hee-joon said, "Under the narcotics law, for one instance of drug use, you're facing no more than 5 years in prison. If you purchase drugs, no more than 10 years in prison. If you've done it many times, it's a weighted range up to 15 years in prison. Because Yoochun didn't repent his wrongdoings at the beginning, he's expected to be punished more severely than a first-time offender usually will be."

In the meantime, Yoochun's case will be forwarded to the prosecution this week after his investigation his complete. He's currently in jail pending prosecution.
