Police summoned Seungri, YG Entertainment officials, and more for questioning.
According to reports, Seoul Police summoned Seungri, YG Entertainment officials including YG's corporate accountant, for further questioning on May 2nd regarding Seungri's use of the corporate card for hotel expenses.
The Intelligence Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Agency summoned Seungri for the 17th time for questioning from 10:00am on May 2nd until 2:00am on the 3rd. On top of the prostitution charges on the corporate cards, Seungri is suspected of embezzling billions of won from Yuri Holdings and club Burning Sun. Both men are accused of depositing 200 million won of the embezzled funds as "liquor brand usage fees" at club Monkey Museum also owned by Seungri.
Police plan to call in other YG officials to determine whether there are any other particulars in the process of using the corporate credit cards. A police official said, "After checking the documents submitted by YG Entertainment, we found out that the corporate credit card can be used for personal purposes but the funds will be offset by their profit allotments."
Regarding the Japanese investors who allegedly received the sex services, according to Police, the chairman and his wife both visited Korea together but they haven't yet confirmed whether he received the prostitution services. The official said, "We are not able to say yet who did or didn't purchase the services or how many others were in the group. Even the foreigners are subject to investigation if they violate our domestic laws."
The police also summoned the Chairman of Junwon Industries that runs Le Meridien Hotel in Gangnam, where club Burning Sun was located. As for Madame Lin Samo, she has yet to respond to the 2nd request for attendance from police that was submitted on April 18th.
According to police, they will decide whether to apply for an arrest warrant for Seungri and Mr. Yoo after they complete their investigations.

I kind of wish the police would stop saying they might arrest him and just get on with the investigation. And maybe just announce they've requested a warrant when they actually do it.
