A report has emerged about suspicions of illegal entertainment and prostitution taking place in a building owned by Big Bang's Daesung.
According to a report by Channel A 'News A' on the 25th, the basement and 5th through 8th floors of the building are under suspicion of being used as a front for operating illegal entertainment establishments. On paper, these businesses are reported as "photo studios" and "restaurants" but they only open after sunset and receive guests under a secret membership system.
An insider revealed, "The employers are different but they're operated the same way. There is a secret prostitution ring going on, " he said.
Daesung purchased the building in November 2017 but the businesses reportedly began operations since 2005. Daesung's real-estate agent spoke to the media and said, "I had no idea that it was an illegal business. He's just the building owner and has nothing to do with its operations."
Meanwhile Daesung enlisted in the Army's 27th Division in Hwacheon, Gangwon province on March 13th last year and is currently serving. He is scheduled to be released from the military in December.
