Daesung's building is also under suspicion of drug distribution on top of prostitution and tax evasion.
According to a new report by Channel A news on the 28th, a building owned by the Big Bang member has been caught distributing drugs. The drugs are reportedly circulating at the entertainment establishments operating inside the building. Channel A reporters pretended to be guests and asked for marijuana and an employee from the establishment said, "Please text me your number and address and I'll see what I can do."
Apparently the business will obtain the customer's phone number and address and save it in their in-house VIP directory that's reportedly linked to their drug distributor. This way the drugs are secretly supplied to VIPs only to avoid crackdowns.
Police also obtained reports in March that drugs were being traded inside the building. A police official told Channel A, "At the time, there was information that there were customers in the fifth floor of the building who were taking drugs. These customers were allegedly foreign investors. We investigated the building's custodian and others but ended up closing the investigation due to no evidence."
After the Channel A report, police are reportedly reviewing whether drugs are being circulated at the building's establishment.
