YG Entertainment has addressed Big Bang T.O.P's discharge from military.
The Big Bang member is scheduled to be discharged from the military on July 6th. He's currently serving as a social worker at the Yongsan Craft Center in Yongsan-gu and is scheduled to be released at the end of the work day at 7pm KST.
When asked about the singer's military discharge, an official from YG Entertainment said, "We have no further comments. T.O.P will be returning home quietly."
T.O.P was originally scheduled to begin his mandatory military service in February 2017, however, in July 2017, he was charged with purchasing marijuana and received a suspended prison sentence with 2 years probation and fined 12,000 won.
In accordance with the shortened service period that went in effect last July, since he enlisted in January 2018, his discharge date was shortened from August to July 2019.
