2NE1's Minzy files for contract termination from Music Works

Former 2NE1 member Gong Minzy (25) has filed for contract termination.

According to reports, Minzy filed with the civil affairs department in Seoul Central District Court for termination of her exclusive contract with Music Works and is seeking 50 million won in damages from the agency.

The court held hearings with both Minzy and Music Works on the 18th but judgement has yet to be made.

Minzy left 2NE1 and YG Entertainment in April 2016 and signed an exclusive contract with Music Works for her solo career.
