TWICE have earned their first triple crown for 'Feel Special'.
On an episode of KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' that aired live at 6:20pm on Friday, TWICE made a comeback with 'Feel Special' and took first place. This is their first triple crown after taking first place on MBC Music's 'Show Champion' on the 2nd and Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 3rd.
On that day, TWICE thanked fans and their JYP family and mentioned fellow member Mina. Nayeon expressed her feelings stating, "Thank you to Once for coming from far away to support us. I'd like to say thanks to Mina who worked hard to prepare for the album with the members."
Mina was revealed to have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder and on September 23rd, JYP announced that Mina had participated in album production but will be absent from the comeback showcase as well as promotions for their 8th mini album 'Feel Special'.
'Feel Special' is a song about the heart-wrenching moments that are given by loved ones when we have to go through a dark heart tunnel like the black night. The song became even more special with JYP Chief Park Jin Young participating in the song's composition after being inspired by a conversation with the TWICE members. The difficult moments the members experienced since debut 4 years ago became the starting point for 'Feel Special.'
This episode of 'Music Bank' featured performances by CLC, NCT DREAM, TEEN TEEN, TWICE, Kang Xiwon, LABOUM, Red Velvet, Rocket Punch, Baek Ji Young, Seo Sung Hyuk, SATURDAY, SEVENTEEN, ONEUS, Jang Woo Hyuk, Jeong Sewoon, and PurpleBeck.
