Police have released more details regarding ongoing investigation into Goo Hara's untimely death.
Lee Yong-Pyo, Head of police at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency held a press conference on the 25th and stated, "We found Goo Hara at around 6pm yesterday. Based on the testimony from her bereaved family and initial site inspection, there are currently no suspicions of a crime. As for whether to conduct an autopsy, we will decide after consultation with prosecution based the opinions of the bereaved family and the results of the on-site inspection. At the moment, nothing has been confirmed," he explained.
"Regarding the estimated time of death, analysis of the CCTV footage obtained has confirmed that she returned home at around 12:35am on the 24th, and we presume that she passed away after that time. We have spoken to her housekeeper who was very close to her and she stated that she decided to check on her after not being able to reach her and found her dead at her home at 6:00pm."
He added, "We also found a handwritten memo on the table of her living room written by Goo Hara herself. The note alluded to a pessimism about her safety (suicide) but we're not able to reveal the contents of the note yet."
He stated, "We express our deep condolences to her family and ask fans to please let the family grieve in peace."
