Rapper Dok2 (Lee Joon Kyung, 29) is facing a lawsuit for unpaid jewelry loans.

According to a new report by Dispatch, Dok2 is accused of receiving jewelry and watches under loan and has yet to pay back remaining credit of 40 million won (~$34,740).

A U.S based Jewelry company filed a complaint with the Southern Seoul District Court on the 30th and according to the petition filed in court by A, the amount of jewelry given on credit to Dok2 totaled 243 million won (~$206,000).  The money is equivalent to six pieces of jewelry from rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches (all diamonds). However, Dok2 delayed payment for a few days and when company A asked about a deposit plan, Illionaire Records said, "Our U.S income is zero. We will remit $20,000 per month from our line of credit to avoid legal problems."

On November 28 and December 07, 2018, Dok2 paid $40,000 but soon defaulted again for three months until March 2019. When A demanded payment again, Dok2 stated, "We have no money in the U.S because of an embezzlement. We will make another payment in April when our U.S Tour and CF fees come in."

Company A was able to receive 52.32 million won ($43,600) on April 7 but in May, they defaulted again. When Company A hastened payment, Dok2 sent his bankbook that showed his bank balance of 6 won.

"Dok2 asked me to send the bankbook that showed the account had six won on it," a close aide said. "He said he was a musician and asked again if Big Bang handled the money themselves."

On May 28th he sent $41,800 each from his Korean and U.S bank accounts and company A didn't hear from them after that. According to A, Dok2 still owes 40 million won ($34,740).

Dispatch tried to contact Dok2 regarding the issue but couldn't reach him. Instead, his former manager stated to Dispatch that,"Dok2 lost his sponsored items in a theft in LA and he's working on a way to return the goods."

But company A refuted the manager's statements and stated, "We do not offer refunds nor allow exchanges or returns. Dok2 has been avoiding contact with us since August."

In the meantime, Dok2 is also currently under IRS tax audit for unpaid taxes.
