Kim Gun Mo has filed counterclaim for false facts and is seeking damages.
On the 13th, Kim Gun Mo filed a defamation complaint with the Gangnam Police Station in Southern Seoul on Wednesday and stated, "I don't even know who these women are. I can no longer ignore these malicious YouTube broadcasts by lawyer Kang Yong Seok that have distorted the facts and now many people are accepting falsehoods as truth."
He added, "This #MeToo phishing expedition needs to be stopped. The lies are clear as day. The truth will come to light through investigations."
Kim Gun Mo is being accused of sexual assault after two women came forward alleging r*pe by the singer. Lawyers Kang Yong Seok and Kim Se Ui met with the victims and revealed the allegations on their Garo Sero YouTube Channel.
He has since then canceled all his schedules next year including his 25th Anniversary Concert.
