A Blue House petition has been filed to ban the 'Garo Sero' YouTube Channel.
On the 19th, 'Garo Sero Institute' (hereinafter referred to as 'Gaseyeon') held a live stream and discussed Yoo Jae Suk's press conference. They stated, "When did we ever speculate it was Yoo Jae Suk? We never pointed anything to Yoo Jae Suk."
Instead of stopping there, they also speculated about Kim Tae Ho PD stating, "Kim Tae Ho PD received an unconfirmed sum of money from MBC. We also heard his house was really expensive. Is it slush funding?"
They also speculated further about Yoo Jae Suk saying, "The color of the clothes he wore at the press conference remind me of a certain political party. He also needs to give an explanation about the stock manipulation controversy at the time when he transferred to FNC."
Netizens who saw the stream stated "their speculations are so ridiculous especially because they have no special evidence or witnesses to back up their allegations. Yoo Jae Suk just happened to wear that to the press conference. It's not a blind item."
The reckless allegations by 'Gaseyeon' eventually returned as boomerangs as the public's criticism increased and petitions began appearing on 'Cheong Wa Dae''s bulletin board.
On the 20th, one 'Cheong Wa Dae' petitioner wrote, "He's accusing people without proof. *** and now *** who have lived good lives now manipulated stock prices and slush funding? Can they sell out innocent people without any evidence like this just to get popular? I would like to ban such ridiculous broadcasts from our government and ask that such people be deprived of lawyers."
Another petitioner stressed the need for sanctions stating, "I think it's a way for them to make money on YouTube from views rather than share meaningful broadcasts about public's right to know."
