Police have arrested an incumbent prosecutor for conducting prostitution.
On the 23rd, the Seoul Mapo-gu Police Office stated, "we have arrested prosecutor A, who's currently holding office, on suspicions of violating the law on punishment of acts such as prostitution."
According to police, A was caught conducting prostitution at an office-tel in Mapo-gu at around 7pm KST on the 22nd. Police were able to pin down the location and raid the scene from an anonymous katalk. Prostitute B was also arrested and indicted for the same charge.
According to field officials, "A was caught after a raid by 20 investigators and was intoxicated at the time of arrest."
