Channel A has revealed katalks between Ha Jung Woo and hospital director.
On the 19th, Channel A unveiled texts between Ha Jung Woo and the head of the plastic surgery hospital through a close aide to Ha.
According to the texts, Ha arranged the date and time of his appointment in January last year saying "he had been informed and contacted" by the head of the hospital. Two weeks later, the hospital director stated, "the next task will be the scar but come in three times within 10 days for the procedure." Ha replied, "the scar is the biggest homework" Later, Ha reached out to the hospital director saying he was experiencing "redness on his skin following the laser procedure."
Ha Jung Woo's aide claims that the texts are evidence that he received Propofol injections in the course of dermatology treatment and wasn't illegal medication. When asked why he was injected with Propofol to treat the scars, he explained, "His facial scars were so deep that he couldn't bear it without sleeping anesthesia."
His aide also flatly denied allegations that Ha Jung Woo made the appointment under his dongsaeng's name stating, "I don't know why the hospital records say he made the appointment under his dongsaeng's name. You can tell from these texts that he made the appointment directly with the head of the hospital."
In the meantime, the prosecution has reportedly made the decision to summon Ha Jung Woo for questioning to determine the authenticity of his agency's statements on the issue.
- [+4,392, -171] It's not a question of whether its right or wrong. Giving prescription under someone else's name is flat out illegal in medical practice. So what's the real truth?
- [+1,858, -104] We need more details behind this. First off, wouldn't it be more expensive if he chose to do that unless he was getting favors because he's a celebrity. Also, those texts from the doctor seem like they were sent just in case they needed to explain things later if something happened.
- [+2,139, -569] People that have gotten scar treatments know that the words "Propofol" and "treatment" are unheard of.
- [+1,026, -182] Guys, let's just wait it out
- [+799, -63] Is he serious? How is that proof that nothing illegal happened?
- [+440, -4] Why didn't you write in the article the fact that this hospital director was taken into custody a few months ago and had to shut down the hospital in the dead of night. Maybe it was because he was administering Propofol to celebrities.
- [+456, -41] ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹Is he taking the public for fools? What doctor asks for your condition through texts? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹releasing this as evidence is making you look more guilty.
- [+335, -10] Isn't that the same hospital director that's infamous for giving out Propofol over-the-counter? I've heard that he's given Propofol to over 70 chaebols. I'm sure one of them introduced Ha Jung Woo to him and he used the "dermatology treatment" as an excuse to administer it. And how are those texts evidence? What's the point of releasing those texts from a hospital that let's you make appointment under someone else's name. This hospital is just using "dermatology" as an excuse to give out Propofol. Just wait, in five days no one will even remember this. This just seems like an excuse to cut the tail.
- [+202, -7] How do those texts explain anything?
- [+147, -10] Are comments here seriously asking people to be neutral? If this was a female celebrity that took Propofol under someone else's name she would've been cursed out and cancelled already but this is male privilege at its finest. This is how easy life is as a man.
