An army official has clarified reports regarding Seungri's upcoming enlistment.
The former Big Bang member is scheduled to report to the Gangwon Cheolwon Army 6th Division Recruitment Training Facility on the 9th. Since he is at the center of the topic of alleged prostitution overseas among other charges, his enlistment is expected to attract a large number of reporters.
But due to the Coronavirus crisis, large public gatherings in Korea have been banned as over 5,766** Koreans have been confirmed with the Corona with at least 36** fatalities reported.
An army official addressed the reports on the 5th and stated, "There will be no actions taken by the Army including any restrictions on press coverage with regards to Seungri's enlistment. We don't have any authority as its planned from outside."
Meanwhile, despite the Corona crisis, the enthusiasm for Seungri's enlistment is expected to be hot.
