Police have discovered a CCTV photo of an alleged "car accident" in Cho's "Nth Room".
According to a report by Chosun Ilbo on the 30th, police obtained texts of a conversation between Cho Joo Bin and Son Seok-hee in the "Nth Room" that reportedly included a "fake" CCTV photo of alleged "Gwacheon car accident", when the dispute between Son Seok-hee and freelance journalist Kim Woong began. Cho reportedly mobilized a public service worker working for his chatroom to steal information about Son's car and vehicle license plate number and sent a "fake" CCTV photo to Son Seok-hee on April 16, 2017.
Cho explained during investigation, "I sent a photo via Telegram to the president of JTBC. The photo was of the so-called Gwacheon accident. The photo was of a vehicle with the same make and model as his and had the exact same license plate. After seeing this, President Son deposited tens of millions of won."
Police are investigating Cho's statements and texts of his conversation with Son Seok-hee as he apparently made many statements about him to the extent that he took up three pages of reports written by police. He revealed many things that could be suspected to be false including various mentions of influential politicians and celebrities.
Police plan to summon President Son Seok-hee soon to verify Cho's statements.
