Fans have clarified alleged "choreo plagiarism" by BLACKPINK's Lisa.
YouTuber Cierra Nichols accused Lisa of stealing her floor choreography and not properly giving her credit as evidenced by an Instagram story posted on her account on the 24th.
Fans took to Twitter to defend Lisa and stated that the floor choreography between the two dances is not the same and even so, Lisa is not even the choreographer of the "plagiarized" dance. According to Lisa's video on her YouTube channel LiliFilm, the choreographer is Cheshir Ha.
Fans also revealed that her choreographer Cheshir Ha and Cierra Nichols follow each other on Instagram and blamed Cheshir Ha for not addressing the growing controversy leaving Lisa to face significant backlash over the plagiarized dance.

Lilidance choreographer and her follow each other, she knew exactly what she was doing. She dragged lisa for no reason pic.twitter.com/Cwka2jx8tG— Saad🍬⁴ (@rosiesbible) April 22, 2020
so with cheshir who made the choreography and did everything related to it that was "stolen" apparently "it's all love" and "we're on the same page" but with lisa who literally only danced to it "she stole the choreo" and her dancing is "sh*t" WHAT???? pic.twitter.com/1Rx0pqaQTE— n (@glossylisa) April 26, 2020
so she left this comment under cheshir ha’s post? she accused lisa stealing when lisa has nothing to do with the choreography and defended the actual choreographer? pic.twitter.com/TWlIsNHpVW— FL (@_fluffylisa) April 26, 2020
Cheshir is NOT to be trusted, yes I said it! I know that YG might not allow Lisa to speak on certain things because of their rules and blah blah blah, but Cheshir is not a yg choreographer or employee so she should have addressed this already. Instead of accusing Lalisa who gave credit to the actual choreographer, you should've DMed Cheshir Ha right away. She didn't get massive backlash, Lisa did. And for no reason. The least you can do is do the right thing & apologize to her publicly. #ApologizeToLalisa@bigcapnocap pic.twitter.com/SSAfXX6r91— ʟɪsᴀɢᴏʙᴀsᴇ (@LisaGObase) April 26, 2020
In the meantime, YG Entertainment has yet to address the growing controversy.
