'Nth Room' founder 'God God' (Moon Hyung Wook, 24) face has been revealed to the public.
On the 18th, police forwarded 'God God' to the Daegu Prosecutor's Office and revealed his face publicly in front of the Andong Police Station in Gyeongbuk.
'God God' was arrested by police and indicted for nine charges including violations of the Youth Protection Act. He was accused of filming sexual exploitation videos of minors and distributing them in his 'Nth Room' and 'Baksa' chatrooms on Telegram in 2018.
When asked by reporters why he committed the crime he stated, "I had the wrong idea about sex. I'm sorry to the victims and their families." Regarding the number of victims he exploited he stated, "the police said about 50 people and 3 sexual assaults."
When asked about his relationship with Cho Joo Bin, he stated, "I have nothing to do with him."
In the meantime, police are expanding the scope of their investigations further to 2015 as they believe he committed more crimes at the time. A police official stated, "We will continue to investigate the suspected crimes and accomplices and will protect any additional victims."
