FNC Entertainment has broken their silence and released a statement after Mina's allegations.
On the 9th, FNC released an official statement writing, "We apologize for not being able to take care of the relationship between the members more carefully. Though we repeatedly contemplated revealing our stance, we decided that the recovery of Kwon Mina’s health is the current priority.
We concluded that explaining and refuting the things that are being said and publicly deciding on what is right and wrong in this situation will only produce more sensational issues and will not contribute to resolving the situation. We have also discouraged the AOA members from making individual statements even though they wished to. We came to the conclusion that showing each of their statements in front of the public and having fights occur over those statements would not be the right way of resolving the situation.
Recently, when Mina asked the agency’s employees about Shin Jimin’s future plans for activities, we did not respond because Shin Jimin had personally already spoken with the agency to say that she had no intention to be active in the entertainment industry and wanted to live on as a non-celebrity, and we did not wish for it to be needlessly mentioned another time.
Regarding the matters mentioned in Mina’s social media posts, such as payment, we have been strictly abiding by industry standards, and if there is any potential problem, we will take all legal responsibility.
We're deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused by various unsavory things related to AOA. I hope that Kwon Mina who's having a hard time will be able to recover her health as soon as possible."
- [+305, -5]ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ these guys are all the sameㅋㅋ
- [+270, -2] FNC is infamous for never giving official statements but this time things are different. If Mina wouldn't have been able to pull through from her extreme choice this time FNC would've needed to close their doors. That means Mina and her family have leverage against him. He needs to apologize for what he's accused of and pay back the 3 billion won trainee debts. That's the only way Mina can focus on recovering her health and live a happy life.
- [+151, -3] What do you mean..and 3 billion? Are they really asking her to pay it back? It can't be...
- [+132, -2] Mina has nothing to lose now. A person that has nothing to lose is truly scary
- [+152, -7] "It was because Jimin himself had no intention of being an entertainer and wanted to live as as a non-celebrity so we didn't want it to be mentioned again." So the company only respected Jimin's position and ignored Mina's? So you're on Jimin's side..
- [+84, -8] FNC is really working hard to save Seolhyunㅋㅋㅋㅋ. But its been exposed that Seolhyun was a participant tooㅋㅋ
- [+52, -1] How much pain was she in to have cut her wrists again? What a pity. You would think that a company she cherished for 10 years would try to comfort her. Aigoo..what did the members do for her?
- [+39, -1] How is that an apology when they're not directly apologizing to Mina..
- [+36, -0] I wish FNC would just shut it doors forever. Yoo Jae Suk-ssi, don't get paired with an agency like that. Them and YG can't stand them. Just get out of there as soon as the contract is over.
- [+36, -3] They're not even going to address the allegations against her? Are they protecting Seolhyun because of money? Mina clearly placed blame on Seolhyun..
