A member of an idol group has been confirmed to have tested positive for coronavirus.
An idol member that made an appearance on two networks in a row last weekend to promote their new album was confirmed to have tested positive for coronavirus on the 30th. An acquaintance that the idol came into close contact with informed him that he had tested positive.
The idol's agency apologized stating, "he ended up doing broadcast activities without knowing that he had come into contact with someone that tested positive. All employees and staff members have been tested just in case they were exposed."
Other idols and staff that attended music programs with the infected idol are also examining their movements and started conducting tests.
Since the end of year award ceremonies are currently being held, tension is growing.
An official from Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) that will be held on the 6th without an audience stated, "we will continue to watch the situation."
