The prosecution has concluded investigations into Yang Hyun Suk and B.I over alleged drug purchase.
According to a Kookmin Ilbo report on the 16th, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office requested attendance of whistleblower H (Han Seo Hee) who reported the alleged drug purchase by B.I and cover up by Yang Hyun Suk to the National Rights Commission of Korea in June 2019.
Han Seo Hee was summoned four times through November last year and has received another notification for attendance again after 3 months. Prosecution will finalize statements they received from YG officials including Yang Hyun Suk and iKON member B.I with whistleblower (Han Seo Hee).
The prosecution plans to close the case after selecting targets for indictment this month. Since the investigations into those involved has been concluded, the prosecution's judicial process is imminent.
Prosecution plans to complete the process by end of first quarter (March 2021).
