Prosecutors have demanded a 4 year prison sentence for BTOB Jung Il-hoon's drug use.
On the 20th, Il-hoon and 7 others attended trial at the Seoul Central District Court and prosecutors demanded a 4 year prison sentence for Il-hoon on top of a 133 million won fine for purchasing 820g of marijuana 161 times.
Il-hoon reportedly used cryptocurrency for the transaction.
Il-hoon's lawyer told the court, "Il-hoon is reflecting hard. He resorted to such measures due to great stress in the entertainment industry. He's ashamed to stand here right now for this and he's sorry for the disappointment he has caused. Looking back at this incident, he realized how foolish he was and promised to live without shame in the future."
Jung Il-hoon's sentence will be decided at 2pm on June 10th.
