YG Entertainment's new girl group will be composed of elite members.
According to a music industry official on the 20th, YG's new girl group set to debut in the 2nd half of the year is mainly composed of members in mid-teens age group.
YG's new girl group will be composed of elite members selected from applicants from all over the world and reportedly underwent an average of 4-5 years of traineeship. Trainees received YG's high intensity training from the age of 10.
The average age of 2NE1 members when they debut was 20 years old and Blackpink's was 19 yrs old.
While the number of members and team name is still under wraps, expectations are being raised as to what new attraction YG's first teen girl group will capture the world's K-pop fans with.
