Actor Kim Eung-soo is under controversy for his remarks about Monsta X's Minhyuk.
On the 15th, Kim Eung-soo hosted a Naver Now live with Kim Junsu who appeared as a guest and asked the actor if he had any memorable juniors. Junsu then mentioned Minhyuk and said, "When I first met him, his hands were shaking and he was very nervous. Because of that I was very thankful and thought I should work harder."
Kim Eunsoo then said, "Isn't he putting a burden on you? I think he was nervous because he's not able to keep up with you (with his skills)."
In response, Junsu tried to clear up the situation saying, "Minhyuk has many other talents that are different from me" but the actor replied, "What is he better at than you?
He added, "yes, he's more handsome than even me but I get tired of looking at his appearance after 3 minutes" causing further controversy.
Seemingly uncomfortable with the derogatory remarks, Junsu replied, "Minhyuk is a really good friend" and Eung-soo added, "He's the best. I can't wait to see him again" and ended the situation.
After the broadcast, netizens expressed their anger at his remarks stating, "so disrespectful. How is that a joke?" Who invites guests only to embarrass them and call them names?"
Meanwhile, Kim Eung-soo is currently active after appearing on movies like 'Quantum Physics' and 'Peacock.' He's also the host of Naver Now's weekly broadcast 'Answer CINE.'
