AOA's Mina has revealed the current state of her health following numerous self-harm attempts.
On the 18th, Mina posted on her IG and wrote, "I'm posting this all of a sudden but since many people are still worried, I'll tell you a story to alleviate some of those worries. I tried a good thing a while ago. I heard it would do good about 4 years ago but never completely believed it and the cost was burdensome at the time. I'm uneducated but I believe in trying everything."
"In early May, I did a major suicide attempt in Busan and was given general anesthesia at Busan National University, signed a consent form for blood transfusion and finished sutures after surgery. But because my ligaments and veins were cut off, the pain was so severe and there was no sensation so I couldn't move my fingers. The situation was getting more serious and I couldn't feel any emotions when I saw myself like that."
"So for fun, I visited the shaman store again and heard various stories that my maternal grandmother and father used them to save their lives so I hoped for the best and decided to try it. Believe it or not, good things happened. My self-harm and suicide thoughts were exorcised and chased away. The shaman even sent my ancestors away. After that, my body didn't hurt anymore and I was able to reduce my medications and I ate and slept well better than before. Above all else, my sense of motivation to work, meet people was back. Everyone that saw me said my face was much brighter. I can't say my depression, anxiety, insomnia etc. has been completely healed but these days I feel really comfortable."
"Why did I ever do that? Was it really actions of other beings in my body? Anyway, it's so strange that I seem to be finding my original self more and more as my ancestors told me to go back to the bright and active Mina of the old days. I feel fortunate. I don't really want to recommend it but I just wanted to let you know that a really big change has taken place for me. I'm taking it easy everyday so don't worry."
"Originally, my grandmother's mother, my grandma and even my other are really eccentric and so were the shaman's orders but to be honest, I don't know how far to trust myself. But I will become a person that believes and loves herself in the future. So don't worry now everyone."
