Justice Party lawmaker Ryu Ho-jeong is lobbying in favor of legalizing tattoos on public broadcasts.
On the 8th, Rep. Ryu posted a photo of BTS member Jungkook on her SNS and wrote, "Have you ever seen a band-aid on the body of a celebrity you like? This hideous sight is often seen on our TV shows because broadcasting networks ask to cover up any tattoos. This is because tattoos are still illegal and our system has not been able to keep up with the changes in the world that respect the individuality and creativity of individuals. Beautiful paintings, wonderful writings and tattoos that are common around us are illegal, while in other countries tattooists with high artistry are revered on the world stage and sweep the world competitions. It's only in Korea that we ignore tattoos."
She then revealed that she is pushing for a bill to legalize tattooing called the "Tattoo Up Act" and requested the joint initiative of seniors and other lawmakers.
- This woman has no concept. Is she doing this on purpose to get her name out there? We don't want to see the lives of our kids and the country ruined by women in politics.
- Is this what's important right now?
- I would like to tie up her mouth in a band-aid..
- Don't use BTS for your politics. Disgusting!!
- Looks like she has nothing to do
- 😔 [sigh]
- She's receiving such a high salary to lobby for a bill like this..?
- She went quiet after her scandals but now she's crawling back out to use BTS
- Tattoo your face black while you're at it..
- When has tattooing been illegal? They're hidden on public broadcasts to avoid affecting kids watching...Are we paying her such a high salary to come up with such useless laws..???
- Next, she's probably going to say..."I'm ARMY too" ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
- Yea, let's "gangsterize" the whole nation ~♡ Great idea. I'm sure that will go well.
