Nicki Minaj has been invited to the White House after claims that vaccines cause sexual dysfunction.
According to the Associated Press and The New York Times on the 16th, the White House offered Nicki a phone call with an expert to help answer questions about COVID-19 vaccine after she insisted she'd only get the vaccine after thorough research has been done.
Nicki wrote on Twitter, "My cousin in Trinidad won't get the vaccine because his friend got it and became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married now the girl has called off the wedding. So just pray on it and make sure you're comfortable with your decision, not bullied."
Her post went viral and was retweeted and cited more than 110,000 times as Nicki is a world-famous pop star and influencer with over 22 million followers on Twitter. Her remarks became controversial and health officials all over the world immediately refuted Nicki's remarks.
CDC Director Anthony Fauci conducted an interview on CNN and stated that "there is no evidence that will happen and no reason to imagine that it will happen."
Trinidad health authorities also pointed out that investigating Nicki's comments would be a "waste of time" and stated that "there have been no reports of such side effects in Trinidad."
