Apink Park Chorong's accuser is denying claims that she falsified facts on alleged bullying.
On the 2nd, A issued a lengthy statement and revealed, "Park Chorong's statement is wrong. Her side published an article with false facts even though a verdict hadn't yet been issued. She said the charge of "intimidation based on false facts" was established and sent to the prosecution with an opinion of indictment, but this is not true."
A explained, "The alleged charge of "defamation" and "intimidation" based on false facts that she raised was dismissed with "no charges." The court found that I didn't threaten her. But despite that, her side claimed she suffered secondary harm because I threatened her with falsified facts. If the assault was fake, wouldn't the prosecution have ruled as such? I wonder why she cleverly announced her position in that manner and left out those details."
"I absolutely did not lie. I stand by my position as a victim of Chorong's bullying until the end. I wonder why she didn't explain the situation in detail when she released her statement. She never explained the assault, or the date, time, place and people present at the scene. Her side revealed the statement like that so that it's advantageous to Chorong. The reason why there are "no charges" is because of insufficient evidence based on statements obtained during investigations."
"Chorong's bullying is an unforgettable scar. She's so brazen with trying to manipulate public opinion by providing false information without a sincere apology just because she's a celebrity with special status. Her legal team Taerim announced they were taking strong legal action by collecting malicious comments but there is insufficient evidence from their side that's why they can't prove "defamation."
With conflicting statements from both sides, the battle for truth is expected to continue for a while.
