Hwang Hana (34) has been sentenced to prison for abusing drugs.

On the 4th, Supreme Court Justice Lee Dong-won confirmed the lower court's sentence and sentenced the Namyang Dairy granddaughter to 1 year and 8 months in prison and 500,000 won fine for violating Narcotics Control Act.

Hwang Hana was charged with injecting meth five times with acquaintances Nam and Kim in August 2020 and her deceased husband Oh at a motel in Seoul at the end of the same month. In addition, on November 29, 2020, she was also accused on stealing items worth 5 million won from an acquaintance Kim's residence.

Hwang Hana initially received a 2 year prison sentence however, the appeals court reduced the sentence to 1 year and 8 months taking into account that Hwang Hana had admitted to some of the charges and reached an agreement with the theft victim.

Meanwhile, Hwang Hana was previously charged with injecting meth with acquaintances including her ex-fiancé Park Yoochun several times at her home in Seoul from 2015 to 2018.
