BTS Jimin's private information has been leaked online.
On the 24th, the foreclosure notice containing Jimin's personal information and property seizure was posted in an online community. Currently, the original post has been deleted, however, details of the leak are drawing attention among netizens.
In the leaked document available for viewing on mobile, details of Jimin's non-payment of premiums and seizures conducted are recorded. Details that include the period of arrears, date of release of seizure as well as amount of arrears are also available. In addition, it was confirmed that his sensitive personal information including Jimin's name, resident registration number, and address were also leaked.
On the afternoon of the 25th, Big Hit stated in a phone call with My Daily, "we have nothing to say other than our current position."
Big Hit has taken responsibility over "company negligence" of Jimin's insurance premiums however controversy is continuing to grow due to their "mismatched timeline of events" and "vague" statements raising further criticisms over Jimin's role in the negligence.
Meanwhile, leaking of personal information is a serious matter and a crime therefore netizens are demanding thorough investigations into the issue stating that "the artist must be protected."
