BTS' Las Vegas Concert is raising suspicions over "illegal bribes."
On the 8th, Media Today reported that "HYBE invited about 100 reporters to BTS' Las Vegas concert performance and subsidized the cost of meals, local corona tests etc.," raising suspicions over violating the 'Anti Graft' (Kim Young-ran) Act.
In a press release through Newsis, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission addressed the allegations and stated, "When reporters and executives of media companies go on business trips overseas, airfare, accommodation etc. and related expenses, in principle, are to be borne by the company itself. We were not able to find facts over claims HYBE violated the Anti-Graft law."
HYBE also clarified the alleged claims through Media Today and stated, "After consulting with the legal team, we inquired and received an answer from the Anti Corruption and Civil Rights Commission of the Anti-Graft Act that our offerings through the official event were within the normal range."
Meanwhile, BTS is scheduled to hold their 'Permission to Dance' concert at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on the 8th~9th and 15th~16th.
