Miss A members Jia and Fei have also previously appeared as participants in the project. The audition is held for female entertainers in their 30s or older.

Jessica abruptly left Girls Generation in 2014 and her secret love affair with Tyler Kwon was exposed. She later started her own fashion label 'Blanc and Eclair.' Despite Jessica releasing her solo albums and publishing novels, she has been ambitious however the reaction to her activities is not as good as it used to be. Moreover, her fashion label's parent company, where Tyler is CEO, was embroiled is debt defamation scandal of 8 billion won in September of last year, severely damaging her image.

Throughout her promotions with Girls Generation, Jessica was introduced as a "Korean American" but all of a sudden she's of "Korean-Chinese (Joseon-jok)" origin, walking on a unique path to challenge a Chinese girl group, causing controversy.

Meanwhile, her agency Coridel refuted the rumors to News1 stating, "It's true that Jessica is appearing on a Chinese audition program but we don't know why she's introduced like that. We have never written a profile and sent it over to the broadcaster, and the broadcaster also said that they didn't write it."

  1. [+1,358, -12] But is it necessary for her to audition in China?
  2. [+1,023, -13] Still, she's a former SNSD member, it's sad that she's reduced to going to these Chinese variety shows ㅠㅠ Just feels like SNSD's status is being brought down with her into wholesale... it doesn't feel good.
  3. [+526, -10] Money is important and all but please don't don't sell your soul for it!!
  4. [+476, -35] She's annoying with everything she gets into.
  5. [+364, -29] She's a former member of a global girl group. Is it necessary to go to a Chinese variety? Does she have no pride? I'd rather take hiatus than embarrass yourself like this. To from a Girls Generation member to this..? Seriously, as a Korean, I get angry seeing articles like this.
  6. [+190, -0]  She met the wrong man and now she's gone from SNSD's "ice princess" to a Korean-Chinese ahjumma
  7. [+131, -2] She must've thought he was a much more influential vessel for her career than a girl group like SNSD because it was limiting her potential..now she's in her 30s with a man that's not even her husband, just some boyfriend out to scam her.. forcing her to go on Chinese varieties.. this is why you should keep your greed to a minimum, otherwise you'll end up miserable like this.
  8. [+85, -1] Sigh... Jessica has seriously hit rockbottom. It's sad. She's still a former SNSD member that dominated the era with the group ... all she has accumulated now is debt.. no one even knows if Tyler is still her boyfriend...her youth is gone along with all her money so she's being sold off to some nugu Chinese rookie show.. seriously what's the point of her leaving if she was going to turn out like this? I'm sure she'll get paid well but who cares about being a queen in a country like that? She can't even live a normal life anymore, her life is a mess ㅜㅜ
  9. [+78, -1] So she was "American" when she came to our country to make money and now all of a sudden she's a Korean Chinese for a Chinese show? So she threw us out.
  10. [+77, -2] So she went from a an American gyopo to a Chinese gyopo!!??ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
