Former YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk is facing 3 years in prison. 

On the 14th, the prosecution demanded a 3 year prison sentence for Yang Hyun Suk for threatening informant A (Han Seo-hee) with death. 

In the final hearing held at the Seoul Central District Court's 23rd Criminal Agreement Division, the prosecution asked the court to give the former CEO 3 years in prison for threatening informant A to reverse her statements to cover up former iKON B.I's drug purchase. 

Han Seo-hee is alleging Yang Hyun Suk called her up to the 7th floor office of the YG building and threatened her stating, "It's nothing for me to k*ll you off the industry..." and threatened her to reverse her statements. 

In response, Yang Hyun Suk countered in court, "I was careful with my words because I was worried Han Seo-hee was recording so I never threatened her. She's young and her dream was to become a singer so I just told her she should become a better person and quit using drugs."

Meanwhile, B.I was found to have purchased and administered marijuana and LSD in 2019 and sentenced to 3 years in prison suspended for 4 years probation in September last year.
