Rumors are pouring out over BTS member Suga.
On the 13th, following continued reports claiming that Suga will be enlisting as a "social worker", 'BTS Gallery' side issued a statement that's raising questions.
They expressed their position writing, "Since Suga has continued to express his convictions regarding the military issue through song lyrics, he should express his position on his own."
While the official reason for Suga's enlistment as a "social worker" has not been revealed, speculations are pouring out that it was due to his shoulder surgery.
After suffering a car accident in 2012, Suga was diagnosed with a dislocated humerus in his shoulder the following year. He constantly suffered shoulder pain and was later diagnosed with a left posterior labral tear in 2019 for a cartilage tear around the shoulder joint.
It was judged that it could be difficult to continue his idol promotions with his shoulder as is, so he underwent surgery to seal the ruptured joints in November 2020.
However, the Gallery side insisted that Suga injured his shoulder 10 years ago and received first grade results on his physical exam after the injury. At that time, Suga also delivered messages such as, "The reality is I'm a healthy first class citizen subject to active duty" and wrote lyrics like, "Why is my health brought up unnecessarily?"
Suga received grade 4 results in the re-examination after the shoulder surgery. Netizens are claiming he needs to express his own position related to lyrics to his own self-composed song where he states, "I will go to the military on my own when the time comes" even after the grade 4 results.
Netizens are sharing mixed reactions to the reports writing, "Suga is someone that is well-loved as BTS, I don't understand.. " and "So how was he able to dance with that shoulder?" raising more questions.
