Informants reveal testimony that Kim Sae-ron was recently at a "Hold'em bar" after her "drunk driving" scandal

Actress Kim Sae-ron's claims of "self-reflection" are coming under suspicion.

According to informants who contacted SBS Entertainment News, Kim Sae-ron was spotted playing games at a 'Hold-em' bar in downtown Seoul several times earlier this year. A Hold'em bar is a pub where you can play 'Hold'em', a type of poker, with trump cards while eating food and drinking alcohol. 

If the eyewitness accounts are true, Kim Sae-ron used the game facility less than a year after she promised to "reflect" after being caught drunk driving.

The informant stated, "I saw an article saying during trial that she reflected a lot after her drunk driving accident. But the Kim Sae-ron, who I actually saw, didn't seem that way. She didn't look like that at all."

Another informant stated, "The Kim Sae-ron I saw at a Hold'em bar was enjoying Hold'em with chips piled up so it was difficult to see how she was living in hardships."

On the 11th, Kim Sae-ron pled for leniency in court during her trial saying that "she was suffering from living hardships while trying to live a life away from alcohol."

Her attorney revealed in a phone call with Asia Economy, "it's true that she's working part-time because of living hardships. So far, she has spent all her income on her parents' business and living expenses for the family. She has virtually no property only the vehicle from the drunk driving accident. The officetel revealed through an entertainment program was rented in the agency's name. Since there was no money,  the agency had no choice but to compensate victims, such as nearby merchants, with a charter deposit because she couldn't afford the settlement fee."

SBS tried to contact Kim Sae-ron through SNS to ask whether the witnesses' reports were true but we were not able to reach her.
