Leaked contract and texts expose the extent of VIXX Ravi's "deceitful acts" with broker A to obtain "fake diagnosis"

More details have surfaced regarding VIXX Ravi's fake cosplay with broker A for military exemptions.

According to an arraignment filed on the 3rd by Ministry of Justice's Congressman Jeon Joo-hye, rapper Ravi (Kim Won-sik, 30) was able to evade military service by conspiring with broker Goo. 

In leaked texts, broker Goo sent a message to Ravi saying, "I will solve the military problem 100%" and suggested a plan to avoid military service through fake epilepsy symptoms. In response, Ravi's side signed a military service exemption contract with broker Goo in March, promising a success fee of 50 million won and in return received a "scenario" detailing how to disguise epilepsy.

According to broker Goo's instructions, Ravi pretended to have lost consciousness after a seizure in order to receive epilepsy prescription medicine. After falsely reporting to the 119 emergency center that "he had lost consciousness after a seizure" he visited the emergency room at Gangnam Hospital and made an appointment for outpatient treatment in the Neurology Department. However, doctor A who conducted an EEG and MRI exam on Ravi concluded that "there was nothing wrong" and Ravi left the office in embarassment.

In response, broker Goo ordered, "Say you're going crazy (due to epilepsy) and your life as an idol in music will be over and demand a medicine prescription." 

Ravi's aide went to the clinic and protested again and demanded a medicine prescription. Doctor A eventually prescribed treatment medicine for epilepsy but Ravi of course, didn't take the medicine.

Ravi, continued to complain of fake symptoms for several months and took drugs and was eventually issued a medical certificate for epilepsy three months later in June. Upon hearing this, broker Goo sent Ravi a text and said, "Congrats on the military exemption."

Later, Ravi underwent a physical exam at the Military Manpower Administration using the fake medical certificate and was finally judged in the 4th grade for supplementary service. Prosecutors wrote in the leaked indictment, "Ravi used deceit to evade/reduce his military service obligations."

A rapper from the same agency Nafla (Choi Seok-bae, 31) was also investigated for faking mental illness and manipulating attendance records in order to avoid/reduce social worker service.

According to the indictment, Nafla, who was ordered to do social service at the Seocho-gu Office, promised to give 10 million won to broker Goo if his service was suspended in February 2021. Broker Goo suspended his service under the guise of "depression" and "suicidal thoughts" and guided him on how to receive his discharge.

Since then, Nafla is said to have also faked a "severe mental illness" as Broker Goo instructed him.

In an interview with the official in-charge of his case, Nafla stated, "the state of my mental illness has deteriorated due to the drug incident. I want to return to the U.S where my mother is because my condition is getting worse." Nafla then periodically visited the hospital and was prescribed medicine but the prosecution judged that he also did not take it.

Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration (MMA) and Seocho-gu officials were found to have also "colluded" in Nafla's military service evasion. The officials manipulated Nafla's commute management table in the 'Daily Service Situation Department' and made it seem as if he was "repeatedly tardy" and "left early" due to mental illness. 

It was further revealed that the officials in question had falsely stated on the call-up application form that "the symptoms of mental illness were serious" to help Nafla evade military service.
