French newspaper 'Le Parisien' has rated Blackpink's concert as the "worst summer performance."

On the 15th, Blackpink held their world tour concert 'Born Pink' at Stade De France on a local concert venue however the performance is causing controversy. Fans who attended the event earlier responded through YouTube and SNS claiming the show as "met expectations enough" and "perfect" however media reviews are stating otherwise.

At the time, 55,000 spectators reportedly visited the concert hall however Le Parisien wrote, "Just because there is a crowd that filled the Stade de France doesn't mean the performance was suitable for it. This is the conclusion we came to after we left Blackpink's concert that caused Korea's K-pop craze."

Le Parisien added, "It was the worst summer performance among recent performances by famous singers around the world in France. The video footage that captured the members at the time exposed their messy performance and the camera was not stable. The choreo was too textbook and they often missed each other due to lack of communication. Their rhythm was broken because there were too many intermissions."

"A ridiculous situation even unfolded at the end of the performance. One member left the stage for no reason and the remaining three called a spectator with a specific placard. It was a show that didn't live up to the popularity of these young Koreans."

Meanwhile, Le Parisien evaluated The Weeknd as 'The best stage this summer,' "with the most perfect and bold performance in all aspects, including stage setting and vocals."

  1. [+465, -31] Yea, it really looked like they were lazy with the dancing.
  2. [+248, -9] The least you can do is not make your fans feel like it was a waste of money. Don't hold concerts if you're just going on stage to kill time to make money!
  3. [+173, -19] France is a country full of egotistical people and a supremacy culture. They will always hate K-pop while praising Canadian artists and their own..
  4. [+64, -4] A journalist who's taste is the Weeknd ^^
  5. [+57, -7] Yea, this was just.. it wasn't it. It was embarrassing to be honest. The perfection they had in their debut days is gone. They lack practice, rehearsals, communication between members... the performance exposed the fact that they haven't been rehearsing together especially with rumors of Lisa leaving. Jisoo's skills, as always, never seem to get better either so it's not even worth mentioning anymore.
  6. [+39, -1] Just look at Beyonce's concert.. there are clips all over YouTube. The scale and quality is amazing. K-pop is popular now but still growing. Even if they can't hold concerts at that scale at least call up famous experts to do the composition properly. I've been seeing a lot of clips from Blackpink's concert lately but.. it's clear they've lost their roots. If even people like you and me can see it, just imagine what the experts must be seeing..
  7. [+37, -6] I don't understand why they're popularㅋㅋ
  8. [+19, -1] There are so many idols that can take their place in this industry.. it's time to end it. The time has come for this group.
  9. [+17, -2] They're not artists so they can't put out soulful performances. Those are their songs and their performances but they're dancing so lazily, lip-syncing, and acting like it's a song put out by another group. How can you entertain fans if this is what you're putting out? It just seems like they don't care anymore.
  10. [+12, -0] They're just factory manufactured products.. skinny choding dolls on stage doing memorized choreo.
  11. [+11, -1] Let's be honest.. they can't sing either.
  12. [+11, -3] Anyone that has traveled to France knows how ignorant and racist they are to Asians..
  13. [+9, -0] Blackpink is a disappointment.
