Actor Yoo Ah-in has been discovered visiting Gangnam clubs.
On the 2nd, an article titled 'Actor Yoo Ah-in at the Gangnam Club while under investigation' was posted on an online community. The author caught attention by attaching a picture showing the club's internal structure and reserved seats along with the caption, "Yoo Ah-in is coming to Gangnam's most expensive club today." The article quickly spread on social media and online communities.
However, the agency claimed the rumor as 'unfounded' and stated, "Yoo Ah-in isn't even in Seoul, this is absurd. The author should be embarrassed for this fake post."
Yoo Ah-in is currently embroiled in controversy for habitual drug use after drug tests revealed he habitually took more than 7 drugs to include marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, zolpidem, propofol, midazolam, and alprazolam.
Police applied for an arrest warrant in May believing there is a risk of destroying evidence and escaping however court rejected it saying "it was difficult to recognize the need for arrest."
Following arrest warrant dismissal, the prosecution revealed, "it's somewhat strange that his arrest warrant was dismissed after he was confirmed to have taken more than 7 drugs so we have decided to proceed with re-investigations."
