HYBE has clarified pictures of Bang Si-hyuk in Beverly Hills with two women.
On the 8th, HYBE confirmed that the man in the YouTube video was Chairman Bang. A representative from HYBE told Chosun Ilbo, "He met one of the two women by chance at a gathering of acquaintances and gave her advice on how to deal with impersonators of entertainment companies. After that, the two came to L.A together and she asked him about tourist attractions and restaurants so he made reservations for them and guided them around."
When asked about their identities, the HYBE rep stated, "It's difficult to confirm any add'l information."
Earlier, Bang Si-hyuk was spotted with two women on a YouTuber's video. Among the various speculations about the women, netizens guessed that the woman standing to the left of Bang is BJ Gwajeok Seyeon. In the past few days, Seyeon posted photos on her Instagram of her visits to Hollywood and Malibu beach in L.A. In particular, the hairstyle and outfit in the photos uploaded on the 3rd were exactly the same as the YouTube video. The outfit Seyeon was wearing as a black and white bra top and miniskirt.
In the photos, Seyeon is sitting at a table at a restaurant with an ocean view near Malibu Beach in LA . Photos of food that she apparently ate at the restaurant were also attached. Seyeon wrote, "It was so nice to see dolphins while eating." When netizens commented, "Did you eat with Chairman Bang Si-hyuk?" the BJ closed comments on her IG account.
