The arrest warrant for entertainer Robert Holley (61) has been dismissed.
According to a broadcast by SBS '8 News' on the 10th, earlier in the day Robert Holley attended a court hearing for a warrant review. "I want to say sorry to my family, friends, and to all the people that I've hurt, I'm sorry. My heart is so heavy," Harley said as he was escorted outside wearing a black hat and covered up in a mask.
Holley was arrested by the police on Wednesday on charges of buying drugs online. The police, who performed a search and seizure on the entertainer's home on Wednesday, secured a syringe from behind the toilet, which appeared to be the one used to administer the drug. They also confirmed the fact that he sent hundreds of thousands of won to a suspicious account via a drug sales book that was found. During investigation, Holley said that he took the drugs alone at the beginning of this month.
Holley had previously been arrested last March on the same drug abuse charges but the case was dismissed for lack of evidence. However, the court rejected the warrant, saying, "It is difficult to recognize the need for arrest because there is no fear of destroying evidence because of constant residence."
The police will investigate whether Robert Holley had been involved in the drug purchase process, but the warrant will be dismissed and the disruption will be inevitable.
