Police have applied for more arrest warrants in the 'Burning Sun' case.
Police held a press conference on the 18th and revealed, "We've applied for arrest warrants for Lee Munho, CEO of Burning Sun and Burning Sun MD, Chinese woman, Anna."
This is the second time Police have filed for an arrest warrant for Lee Munho. In March, the police filed a warrant for the CEO for allegations of drug use and possession but the court dismissed it claiming the warrant was "outside scope of a crime."
According to the police, the investigation confirmed allegations of drug use by MD Anna and the Lee Munho and both suspects will be interrogated before their arrest at 10:30am KST on the 19th at the Seoul Central District Court.
Police also revealed, "We are investigating other allegations of organized drug distribution at the club. We cannot confirm the charges yet as the investigation is ongoing." So far 82 people have been booked for drug charges related to Burning Sun with 11 of them arrested so far.
Police also addressed the ongoing investigation into Madame Lin Samo who's staying in Taiwan. The police said, "Lin Samo sent an affidavit through her lawyer about the attendance request. We will request second attendance today because we need her confirmation."
Police didn't confirm whether they've requested or received an arrest warrant for Seungri who's the core character in 'Burning Sun Gate.'
