Roy Kim is facing the possibility of expulsion from Georgetown University.
According to a report by KBS2 Entertainment program 'Celebrity Interview' on the 12th, "Roy Kim is facing a possibility of expulsion from the University for distributing hidden camera footage in connection with Burning Sun scandal and Joon Joon Young's katalks. The university is also currently investigating the incident."
Roy Kim was even covered in the front page of the local school newspaper 'The Hoya' and several students have signed a petition to expel Roy Kim from the university with maximum disciplinary action. A host from the show said, "It's unclear whether Roy Kim will graduate in May as scheduled," referring to the possibility of expulsion.
Roy Kim was summoned for investigation at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on the 10th and has been arrested for sharing illegal shot hidden camera videos in Jung Joon Young's chatroom. Prior to the arrest the singer said, "I'm deeply sorry to my fans, friends, and family and will sincerely and faithfully submit to the investigation."
