Seungri is suspected of another instance of embezzlement.
According to a report by Channel A on the 14th, Seungri took out 10 million won (~7,000) from Yuri Holdings, another company he was the co-CEO at.
During investigation, police found that he had spent the embezzled funds on attorneys fees for a DJ who was being investigated for sexual assault at his other club Monkey Museum .
Seungri released a statement denying the claims saying, "I paid for the lawyer fees because [the incident] could affect the club’s image."
Police are investigating whether there are further instances of embezzlement in addition to the attorney fees.
