YG Entertainment has released an official statement regarding Burning Sun.
In their official statement on the 13th, YG Entertainment said, "Mr. Ji was Seungri's manager at YG Entertainment. We didn't know at all that he received a separate salary from a business related to Seungri. We've also just now become aware of some facts since the recent series of controversies and our exclusive contract with Seungri. Mr. Ji also resigned."
According to a report by MBC 'News Desk' on the 12th, Seungri's manager Mr. Ji regularly received a salary of ~27,000 a month from Burning Sun. According to 'News Desk', "Ji was not a Burning Sun employee but a YG Entertainment employee" increasing suspicions of embezzlement by Seungri.
