According to a report by Sports Kyunghyang on April 2nd, the celebrity "Kim" referenced in previous reports for as being part of controversial katalk chats with Jung Joon Young is none other than singer Roy Kim (26, Kim Sang-Woo).
According to the report, Roy Kim is one of the previously unidentified celebrities in the group chat room where Jung Joon Young shared illegal hidden camera videos. It appears that there were 7 members including Joon Young, Jung Hoon and Roy Kim in this specific chatroom with Roy Kim. Currently, reports claim that there are 23 group chat rooms with at least 16 individuals related to Jung Joon Young's sharing of illegal hidden cameras.
A source from the police revealed on the 2nd, "We have questioned 13 of the 16 people in the chatroom. 7 people have been booked and there is a chance that there will be more depending on the results of the witness interviews we're conducting. We have yet to book Roy Kim but we will review this once we complete our questioning."
A representative from Roy Kim's agency said, "We haven't heard anything yet. We will check with him[Roy Kim] as he's currently attending school in the U.S".
