Amid growing questions about Han Ji-sung's accident who died in a car accident on a highway, a black box containing scenes of the accident has been revealed to the public.
Han Ji-sung's husband previously told the police at the time of the accident the he had to stop the car because he was in a hurry to urinate but when he came back he found out that she had been killed.
Amid growing questions about the accident, several media outlets released video footage of the vehicle passing by the scene on Tuesday. In the video released, a man passes by a woman standing behind a car stopped in the middle lane with the emergency hazard lights on. The person is spotted rushing across a 3-lane road to the shoulder. Questions arise as to why Han's car was parked in the middle of the road, not the shoulder, and why Han Ji-sung was leaning outside the vehicle. When asked, the husband said, "He didn't know why, he just urgently needed to use the restroom."
The black box footage also showed the voice of a witness who was shocked by the situation in the middle of the road so he recorded it. The witness said, "I saw a man get over the guard rail back there and a taxi struck the woman on the road." The driver, who witnessed the accident himself reportedly submitted the black box to police.
Police are continuing their investigation and will analyze the black box footage and sum up the autopsy results to clear suspicions surrounding Han's death.
